How to verify bets?

When playing on our originals you can verify your bets as follows:

  1. Initial Commitment
When a bet is initiated, both the player and the BetBolt server generate secret values (seeds). These values are hashed and stored — keeping the actual inputs hidden to prevent manipulation.

  2. Betting Phase
The bet proceeds using these hidden seeds. Both parties know the commitment hashes, but not the actual secret values used to generate the outcomes.

  3. Reveal & Verify
Once the game ends, the original seeds are revealed. This allows you to independently verify that the outcome was determined fairly and wasn't altered in any way.

Step 1: Open the Bet Modal

Click on your bet and then select “Rotate Pair” to begin updating your seeds.

Step 2: Change Your Seeds

Enter your desired next Client Seed and click Change.
This action commits both a new Client Seed and new Server Seed for the next round of betting.
Make sure any existing games are completed before changing seeds.

Step 3: Reveal the Server Seed

After closing the Provably Fair modal and returning to your bet, you’ll now see that the Server Seed used for that previous bet has been unhashed and revealed.
The Client Seed and Nonce remain unchanged.

Step 4: Click “Verify”

Use the Verify function to confirm the fairness of the result.

Step 5: Compare Results

By inputting the Client Seed, Server Seed, and Nonce, you’ll reproduce the exact outcome shown on your original bet slip — proving the result was not altered.
